MUSIC Genreation Laois will be kicking off their tutition with summer camps this July. The School of Rock and Pop takes place at the Dunamaise Arts Centre from July 2 to July 6.

MUSIC Genreation Laois will be kicking off their tutition with summer camps this July. The School of Rock and Pop takes place at the Dunamaise Arts Centre from July 2 to July 6.

This is an intensive week long course for aspiring young performers, with award-winning, multiplatinum singer-songwriter and The Voice of Ireland contestant Brendan Keeley. It is open to 12 to 18 year olds, and runs from 11am to 3:30pm daily. Course fee is €40.

A Stampede drumming workshop will take place from July 23 to July 27 in the Dunamaise. This workshop with well known drummer Eddie O’Neill will develop rhythm and drumming technique. Participants will perform as part of a group, learn about African culture, and have fun. This is open to beginners and experienced drummers. Advance booking is recommended as places are limited.
