LETHEAN will be hosting music to warm the bodies this cold weekend with The Bluffers performing this Friday December 7 and The Valves taking to the stage on Saturday December 8.
The Bluffers are a Laois/Dublin acoustic duo who formed last year and have been playing a number of local venues. The duo consists of Scott Brown on vocals and guitar and Karen Moore on vocals, mandolin and banjo. Their idea is to play modern chart music using the traditional instruments. Their influences come from Coldplay, Rihanna, Mumford and Sons, Ed Sheeran and more.
The Valves are no strangers to Portlaoise audiences and are one of the most popular bands performing around the county at the moment. Consisting of three well known musicians, the trio are sure to leave everyone dancing until the early hours, with a setlist that includes The Beatles, The Kinks,The Rolling Stones, Joy Division, Del Shannon, Pearl Jam, The Who, The Venturers,The Pixies, The Breeders, Arcade Fire and many more.
