Smoking in Lethean this weekend

POPULAR local band The Little Smoke will be returning to Lethean this bank holiday Sunday to perform. Formed in 2009, after a series of cover gigs, half written songs, fights, episodes of The Mighty Boosh, late nights, and general fed-upness, the band regrouped and started fresh in 2010 as The Little Smoke with a solid devotion to original music.

Having played many gigs intensively throughout Ireland, including venues such as Whelans, Crawdaddy, The Workmans, Cleeres, (Kilkenny) The Spirit Store (Dundalk), The Cellar (Galway) Sky Venue, Kavanaghs, and many others, the band have earned a love for the stage and playing to audiences. April 2010 saw the band win the prestigious UCD Battle of The Bands, and go on to play The UCD Ball sharing the stage with artists like Calvin Harris, Mundy and The Vengaboys. Their single ‘Run Through These Streets’ was lead track of the compilation album ‘Connect One’ and received warm reviews from press and airplay from Midlands 103FM. In 2011, they played the Cosby Stage at EP to much acclaim.
