A new Irish feature film, How to be Happy, made by the participants on the Filmbase Staffordshire University MSc Digital Feature Film Production Course, received its world premiere this weekend at the Galway Film Fleadh.

Demand for the screenings has been so high that the film sold out in less than 24 hours, prompting an additional screening to be organised by the festival which has also sold out. The relationship comedy stars Brian Gleeson (The Stag, Standby) and Gemma-Leah Devereux (Stitches, Casualty) and tells the story of Cormac, a marriage guidance councillor who starts sleeping with his clients, and Flor, a detective hired to investigate his antics. Ratheniska native Max Ramsbottom was part of the film crew and worked as locations manager.
