Moya Brennan and Cormac de Barra will be bringing their show to the Dunamaise Arts Centre on Tuesday April 29.
Calling this show Ten 14, the audience can Moya, the voice of Clannad, and celebrated harper, Cormac De Barra, on a magical musical journey for everyone aged 4 to 104.
Bringing together traditional Irish music and original music by Moya Brennan, this gorgeous performance for families is inspired by the legend of Brian Boru’s harp and celebrates 1,000 years since the Battle of Clontarf in 1014 to engage and intrigue young audiences.
Moya of course is one of the best known ladies in Irish music, having taken to the stage with her family’s band, Clannad in 1970. Throughout her illustrious career, she has performed all over the world and alongside many well known artists including Chicane, Alan Parsons, Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Bruce Hornsby, Joe Elliott, The Chieftains and Paul Young.
