With Sunday tickets already sold out, early bird Picnickers still have time to catch the proverbial worm.
Midnight on July 4 is the deadline to avail of weekend tickets for €194.50, and organisers are reminding fans by announcing the treats in store down in Trenchtown - the Jamaican jewel nestled deep in the forest.
Trenchtown has been home to some of the Picnic’s most special memories for many music lovers, and is a great chance to get away from the mayhem, into another more chilled out mayhem. Among those playing this year are Solo Banton, Capitol 1212, Jah Lex, Mr Williamz, Dirty Dubsters, Cian Finn and Revalation Sound System to name but a few.
As well as the usual fun, the Treasure Beach Stage will host the tropical vibes with Will Softly and guests playing the perfect sounds to accompany a relaxing chill time on the newly man made beach. Keep reading Stage Left and visit www.electricpicnic.ie.
