Durrow’s dynamo for Portlaoise

Bernard O'Shea
DURROW’S finest comedian Bernard O’ Shea is taking time out from a busy schedule of filming and stand up to visit Laois to get a good mammy dinner no doubt, but more importantly to perform his show in the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel.

DURROW’S finest comedian Bernard O’ Shea is taking time out from a busy schedule of filming and stand up to visit Laois to get a good mammy dinner no doubt, but more importantly to perform his show in the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel.

Bernard will be taking to the stage there on Saturday April 13 having flexed his muscles in Vicar Street late last year. Bernard is becoming one of the best known names in Irish comedy at the moment as he is one of the stars of Republic of Telly. Telling it like it is, fans can expect lots of laughs and perhaps a few Laois related jokes as well. He is a well experienced comedian having spent his formative years cutting his teeth in Kavanaghs Comedy Club. He has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Montreal Just For Laughs, as well as a host of other venues. Lauded on both sides of the Irish Sea, O’Shea’s stand-up routines have gone down a storm in previous Edinburgh Fringes, receiving five star reviews on his debut. Tickets for the show are available now from Ticketmaster.
