Eamon A Chnoic Raheen is celebrating 25 years since it first opened and as part of this auspicious milestone there is a weekend of events planned for the bank holiday weekend, October 24 to 26.
Kicking off proceedings, the group is having a night of traditional Irish music on Friday, October 24.
On Saturday, October 25, there is an 80s night planned with fancy dress, so get those Gordon Gekko braces out of the drawer for some era-themed fun.
Finally, rounding off the weekend on Sunday, October 26, there wil be a hurling match taking place, with a mix of players taking part from Colt, Shanahoe, Trumera, Clonad and Ballyfin.
There’s a trophy up for grabs, and the tournament will be followed by refreshments and live music.
