€1.76m for 16 house deal
SIXTEEN properties at Lake Drive, Kilminchy in Portlaoise were sold for €1.76 million on the same day last year.
That’s according to the new Residential Property Price Register which includes the date of sale, price and address of all residential properties purchased in the country since January 1, 2010, as declared to the Revenue Commissioners for stamp duty purposes.
The Lake Drive properties were sold on May 23, 2011 and each were priced at values of between €100,00 and €132,158.59.
Just four months earlier, on January 17, eight apartments at the Green, Kilminchy were purchased for €1.08m and these were sold in two transactions (ie – four apartments costing €540,000).
