This year World School Milk Day is Wednesday 25th September  giving the National Dairy Council an opportunity to highlight its role in promoting school milk and in dairy education at the NDC Dome at the National Ploughing Championships. Children from 3rd class of Rath National School, Ballybrittas, Portlaoise, Co Laois, were at the NDC Dome to celebrate World School Milk Day, where they met with Irish Olympic boxer Darren ONeill and Simon Coveney T.D., Minister for Agriculture, Food & The Marine.
