Fine Gael county councillors Mary Sweeney and James Daly have backed rates changes which means a new business will not have to carry the can for those who have not paid. “This law change will go some way to make the rates system fairer and hopefully encourage and support entrepreneurship in our County,” said Cllr Daly.
