Laois Chamber of Commerce will host the return of the Chamber Ball on Friday November 8 in the Heritage Hotel Portlaoise.

This anticipated event has been revived after demand from many businesses and community organisations. There will be the opportunity to link in in a social setting, while enjoying a well deserved night out.

The Chamber Ball was always a well attended and enjoyed event and it is intended to resume this tradition, particularly in these tough economic times.

Conal Bradley is chairperson of Laois Chamber.

“Laois Chamber organises and hosts many information events and networking activities and we are delighted to see the revival of the Chamber Ball. The ball is a fantastic opportunity for the community across the county of Laois to come together.”

This year the Chamber Ball is partnering with the Jack and Jill Foundation as the designated charity. Jack and Jill provide services to children and families with neurological conditions across Ireland as well as in Laois.

Guest speaker is Nicola Byrne, founder and CEO of 11890. Nicola holds positions on the British Irish Chamber of Commerce. She is also Ambassador in Ireland for female entrepreneurship.

The gala ball includes a four course dinner with music by Spring Break. Tickets for the Laois Chamber black tie ball available from Laois Chamber, Portlaoise, phone 05786 21458 or by emailing admin@laoischamber.ie. Tickets can also be purchased from any board member.
