Tommy Murphy and Sean Dunne of the ‘Taking Care of Business’ RTE 1 TV show will be contributing to Laois Connectsk by presenting a business survival and growth workshop which will be held in the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel on Thursday, October 3, at 8pm.

The theme of the workshop is ‘Thriving and surviving through adversity while keeping your business and your head’.

The TV show, ‘Taking Care of Business’, which was aired in late summer on RTE 1, profiled the trials and challenges of six businesses affected by the recent economic downturn.

All the participants of the show will be present on the night for people to meet.

Tommy and Sean are both chartered accountants from Advanced Corporate transformations Limited (ACT), and will talk about how making small changes could make a big difference to your business.

They will deliver a short presentation followed by a question and answer session which will make the evening very interactive. Both men will give people an opportunity to find solutions to their business issues, solutions which should make it easier for business people to sleep at night.

The orgnisers say this an opportunity not to be missed and the event is y free of charge. This event is part of a programme organised by Laois Ccommunityl to promote Mental Health Week, September 28 to October 3.
