Laois County Enterprise has announced is new set of courses for people who want to improve their skils, retrain, get back to work or set up their own companies..
From February to June the training and business support body will be running course on everything from start your own business to e marketing.
The agency is runing two 10 evening start your own business courses. The first runs from February to March while the second runs from April to June.
A start your own business bootcamp takes place on March 19 while a four day couse on setting up a business takes is fixed for April.
Using the internet for business features in a number of the course. Getting Irish business on line takes palce in early February while a begniners guide social marketing takes place in March as does a course on making the most of Apps. There are also courses on creating e-newsletters and effective e-marketing as well as an advanced course in social media.
Effective selling is covered in a day course in February while advertising and PR on a shoestring is the focus of a training day in March.
Entrepeneurs who want to build brand can get some advice in May while there will be a one day course on customer care in late May.
In mid February there will be a training day on intellectural property management.
Day to day issues in running a company are also covered.
In early may there will training on costing, pricing and cashflow for small businesses. Later in the month there will be a course on taxation for small firms.
Planing is also covered. Writing, updating and reviewing your business plan is a one day course in June while a course in the same month aims to help people to sumbmit a winning tender.
There is a fee for all the courses and places can only be reserved when payment is received.
