Supermacs now employ 50 in Portlaoise

The refurbishment of Supermac’s on James Finton Lalor Ave, Portlaoise has created 12 new jobs for the area bringing the number of people employed by Supermac’s, Portlaoise up to 50.

The new addition of Quizno’s to the premises has also contributed to the creation of a number of jobs during the refurbishment of the premises amongst local tradespeople. The official reopening of Supermac’s, Portlaoise takes place this Saturday, 21 July from 2pm.

The Irish fast food chain says the reopening gives fresh choices to to local people with Supermac’s, Papa John’s and Quiznos providing a range of choices.

Managing Director of Supermac’s Pat McDonagh, says

“We’re delighted with how the outlet has turned out. It is receiving great support from the people of Portlaoise for which we are extremely grateful. We would like to thank our staff and the local builders and tradesmen who did such an excellent job in getting the premises ready for business. We are looking forward to the official opening and the excitement it will bring to the outlet on Saturday,” he said.

Supermacs have invited Local people are welcome to join the Family Day planned to mark the official reopening of Supermac’s, Papa John’s and Quiznos on Saturday. Face painting and famous characters will be joining staff and management of the Supermac’s, Papa John’s and Quiznos to entertain children of all ages for the afternoon! Spot prizes will be up for grabs and competitions will take place throughout the day giving everybody a chance to win.

Supermac’s, Papa John’s and Quiznos are located on James Fintan Lalor Ave, Portlaoise.The Family Restaurant opens Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 12.00am; Friday – Saturday 9.00am – 3.30am and 10am – 12am Sunday. For further information on the opening log on to www.Supermacs.ie.
