Tea dance for Portlaoise

THE Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise will be hosting a tea dance on Thursday October 4 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. The theme of this tea dance will be fun, gentle exercise and friendship, accompanied by sing along songs by musician Danny Webster on the accordion.

THE Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise will be hosting a tea dance on Thursday October 4 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. The theme of this tea dance will be fun, gentle exercise and friendship, accompanied by sing along songs by musician Danny Webster on the accordion.

“Dancing in this relaxed, comfortable venue helps us to broaden our smiles, maintain flexibility and improve circulation. Socially it’s an occasion to renew old friendships and acquire new ones”, said organiser Maureen Culleton. It will be a two hour programme from with an abundance of tea and coffee. Maureen will be there to ensure all get involved in the dancing and enjoy the occasion.
