Laois the second ‘least appealing’

Laois is the second ‘least appealing’ county in Ireland to visit according to new survey.

When asked for a survey ‘what is the least appealing county for a holiday’, Leitrim received the most votes, followed by Laois and Dublin, indicating that trips to the capital generate a lot of mixed feelings.

Others to feature prominently on this list included Longford, Limerick and Carlow.

Laois fared a bit better when people were asked what is their favourite county in Ireland to holiday in?

It shared 17th spot with Fermanagh and Monaghan. Kerry, Galway and Cork shared topped the holiday list.
