Laois goalkeeper Ciamh Dollard has been rewarded for her outstanding displays throughout the year with a TG4 Ladies All Star.

The Portlaoise player was the first name announced when the 2014 team was announced at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin on Saturday evening. She is the first Laois player to take home an All Star since 2011 and it is also her first All Star. It is the second individual award she has won this year as she was also on the Division 1 Team of the League.

Timahoe’s Maggie Murphy was also nominated for an All Star but she was unfortunate to miss out on an award.

Cork and Dublin dominated the awards picking up six and four respectively with Cork midfielder Briege Corkery picking up her eighth.

Armagh picked up two awards with Caroline O’Hanlon being named the 2014 TG4 Senior Player’s Player of the Year.
