ACFL Division 1

St Joseph’s 1-12

O’Dempsey’s 2-7

With defeats for fellow strugglers Ballylinan and The Heath on the same night the win was all the sweeter, and it was a well deserved victory for the Kellyville men as they led from start to finish against the off-form home side.

They had built a commanding lead in the first-half but went to the break just one ahead.

They rebuilt their lead in the second-half and despite a late goal from a penalty for O’Dempsey’s from Stephen O’Leary, St Joseph’s held on for the win.
