The Laois senior hurling team to face Galway this Sunday has been named, with Brian Campion missing out through injury.

The Rathdowney-Errill man was a major doubt after a groin injury forced him off after 8 minutes against Carlow, and he has not recovered in time. He is replaced by Darren Maher at full-back. Elsewhere, Joe Fitzpatrick and Cahir Healy have been named at wing-back and midfield respectively, while John Brophy is also named in the forwards. He was named to start against Carlow also, but was replaced before throw in by Neil Foyle.

Tommy Fitzgerald has been named at wing-forward, with Willie Hyland selected at full-forward. Throw in this Sunday is at 3.30pm.
