The Harps make it six-in-a-row

On a miserable evening in Fr Breen Park, Abbeyleix, The Harps looked to claim their sixth consecutive title against the stern opposition of Camross. The game was a hot encounter with both teams leaving it all on the pitch, resulting with The Harps just pipping Camross to the crown late on.

The Harps 0-10

Camross 1-4

The reigning Leinster Intermediate champions took to the field in search of their sixth title in as many years, but before them stood gallant challengers in the form of Camross. The game was far from clean sailing for The Harps, as they trailed until the final four minutes.

A late rally from The Harps, and in particular Aine Mahony as she struck two of their three surplus points, was enough to see them retain their crown and leave the possibility for seven in a row.
