Division 4 HL semi-final

Ballyfin 2-7

Castletown-Slieve Bloom 0-5

While the eight point winning margin at the end may have been a bit flattering there was no doubt that they were deserving winners on the night. Castletown-Slieve Bloom showed plenty of good hurling but their inability to create scoring chances was their downfall.

Castletown-Slieve Bloom started the game the brighter with the lion’s share of possession in the opening ten minutes but they went to the break two points adrift.

Starting the second half in the same vein as the first, Castletown-Slieve Bloom reduced the gap to just one point. Amazingly this would be their last score of the game despite enjoying a healthy amount of possession as Ballyfin went on to win the game.
