ACHL Division 2 semi-final

Borris-in-Ossory/Kilcotton 0-18

Shanahoe 0-6

Shanahoe came into this fixture with a few injuries and were missing a few influential players, a fact they were left to rue at the end of the sixty minutes. Borris meanwhile came into this game having only lost one of their eleven games in the group stages.

Borris went in at the break with a three point lead at 0-8 to 0-5. However Borris would have felt it may have been a bigger margin if they had of been a bit more clinical in front of goals.

In the opening exchanges of the second half both sides swapped points from frees before Borris went on an unforgiving scoring run that saw them pull clear to win and secure a spot in the final.
