Legendary Kilkenny manager, Brian Cody is to appear on stage at the Dunamaise Arts Centre in an exclusive interview with Damien O’Reilly of RTE on Thursday, February 2 at 8pm.

Cody is one of the greatest sports managers this country has produced having managed the Kilkenny senior hurling team since 1998 leading them to an amazing eight All-Ireland titles. Under his stewardship ‘the Cats’ won three National League titles, pulling off the All Ireland and League double in 2002 and 2003

On the evening of February 2 this legendary sportsman will give an insight into the Kilkenny success story in an interview conducted on stage at the Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise, by Damien O’Reilly of RTE. The programme will also include an open question and answer session with the audience.

According to Thomas Redmond, Chairman of Rosenallis GAA club the event will be a unique opportunity to hear a giant of Irish sporting life share his thoughts on hurling, teamwork, the pursuit of excellence and success.

“On the night, not only will Damien O’Reilly ask the questions but there will be an opportunity for people to ask Brian questions from the floor,” explains Mr. Redmond.

“I think the event will be of tremendous value to people inside or outside the GAA. Brian Cody has something to say to a wide range of people in terms of his approach to teambuilding, confidence building and the pursuit of success.”
