Minor Hurling League Final

Borris-in-Ossory/Kilcotton 3-14

Portlaoise 1-11

Borris/Kilcotton closed out the half with a flurry of scores to reclaim their hold on the game to leave a seven point gap separating the sides at the interval.

Borris/Kilcotton picked up the second half where they left off, and grabbed early points and they built the lead to as many as 14 at one stage.

A late Portlaoise revival was on the cards and they racked up 1-2 in the final three minutes as they looked to find a way back. However, it proved to be little more than a consolation as the Portlaoise revival arrived much too late and Borris/Kilcotton ran out comfortable nine point victors to claim the league honours.
