McNulty names team for Louth clash this Sunday

The Laois team to play Louth this Sunday has been named, with Damien O’Connor a surprise inclusion ahead of Billy Sheehan, while veteran Padraig Clancy also misses out along with Kevin Meaney.

Donie Kingston has been named at centre-forward, while Portlaoise’s Conor Boyle will partner Brendan Quigley at midfield. Denis Booth makes his championship return at full-back, with Mark Timmons and Peter O’Leary either side of him. Gary Walsh leads the attack at full-forward, while Colm Kelly and O’Connor complete the starting full-forward line.
