Cork 2-14

It was a night to forget for Justin McNulty’s men who came flying out of the blocks but lost their way shortly afterwards, as Conor Counihan’s men had them chasing shadows throughout this one-sided affair.

The result was in little doubt at the break after a devastatingly efficient Rebel side cut through the Laois men as if they weren’t there, and only the dismissal of Pierce O’Neill early in the second period coupled with the fact that Cork had already wrapped up the points saved the O’Moore men from a much heavier defeat.
