ACHL DIVISION 1

Clough-Ballacolla 2-18

Borris-Kilcotton 1-14

The home side lead by two at the end of a first-half where both teams enjoyed periods of dominance.

The second half started, and continued, at a high pace with the sides exchanging scores but the game was to swing in Ballacolla’s favour.

With thirteen minutes left on the clock Ballacolla went on the rampage and amounted 2-7 to steal the show, and essentially the game right from under Borris/Kilcotton’s nose. Willie Hyland came to the fore and added 1-3 to his account, while Mick McEvoy slotted 1-1, and Willie Dunphy struck three late points as Clough-Ballacolla comfortably saw off the challenge of Borris-in-Ossory/Kilcotton.
