It shows two changes from the side which defeated Offaly in the quarter-final. Gavin Dunne comes in at corner-back for the injured Ronan Broderick, while Ciaran Collier is preferred in the forward line to Portlaoise’s Conor Ryan.

Laois are bidding for their first final appearance since 1991, while Wexford competed in last year’s provincial decider.

The game is the first of a double header in O’Moore Park on Sunday. Laois are out at 1.45pm, with Kilkenny meeting Dublin in the Leinster Senior SHC semi-final after.

Admission for this weekend is €25.
