The Laois U-21 hurling team for this Wednesday night’s Leinster quarter-final has been named, with Clough-Ballacolla’s Willie Dunphy missing out.

The Laois U-21 hurling team for this Wednesday night’s Leinster quarter-final has been named, with Clough-Ballacolla’s Willie Dunphy missing out.

Dunphy had been hoping to shake off a knee injury but has not recovered in time to make it into the starting 15, with Ballinakill’s Cha Dwyer also missing out.

Laois seniors Gearoid Burke (full-back) and Stephen Maher (wing-forward) will lead the charge, while Ross King will start at corner-forward.

Throw in for the game is 7.30pm.
