A juvenile has been charged with three counts of driving off without paying for petrol, at different filling stations across three counties.
The 17-year-old Laois male was previously charged with the unauthorised taking of an MPV, and burglary, from Woodview, Stradbally, on September 28 this year.
The new charges relate to theft of fuel from filling stations in Kildare, Waterford and Cork, all on September 28/29.
Detective Garda Derek Barnett brought the new charges against the accused.
At last week’s district court, defence, Ms Sarah Dick requested a psychiatric report on her client.
She also requested a disclosure order in the case.
The matter was put back to December 16, for a guilty plea to be entered, or for a hearing date to be fixed.
A curfew is still in place on the accused
