Ken Doherty to play exhibition in Laois

On September 16 the Hawthorn Bar in Ballacolla has a very special night in store when former World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty comes to town to play a special charity pool exhibition night which will raise funds for the Cuisle Centre in Portlaoise.

On September 16 the Hawthorn Bar in Ballacolla has a very special night in store when former World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty comes to town to play a special charity pool exhibition night which will raise funds for the Cuisle Centre in Portlaoise.

The Cuisle Centre is a cancer patient comfort centre run locally and the 1997 world champion will appear on the night to play the Laois locals and to entertain his army of Irish fans.

All are welcome for the chance to play against one of the legends of the game but places are limited to 30 players so use the contact information below soon to avoid disappointment.

On the night there will also be auction and raffles with plenty of snooker memorabilia on show on the night. Ken is renowned for his character in exhibitions and this is sure to be a fantastic night of entertainment for even the most modest of snooker fans.
