Laois riders star for Ireland

Laois boys Ezra Galvin (bike no. 38) of Ballinakill & Conor Duff (bike no. 39) of Timahoe were picked as part of the team to represent Team Ireland at the BYMX Nationals in Mallory Park Moto X GP Circuit in the UK on the weekend of the 20th/21st October.

Laois boys Ezra Galvin (bike no. 38) of Ballinakill & Conor Duff (bike no. 39) of Timahoe were picked as part of the team to represent Team Ireland at the BYMX Nationals in Mallory Park Moto X GP Circuit in the UK on the weekend of the 20th/21st October.

The two boys were picked due to their great season in the Southern Centre Championship where their consistency & commitment had them placing in the top 5 each weekend.

The Irish team was made up of 25 boys with ages ranging from 6 to the mid 20’s. The team raced their hearts out and despite some great results the Irish Team finished 4th overall.

The classes of races were broke up in the following way: Autos, 65’s, 85 Small Wheel, 85 Big Wheel, Youth Open and Adult. Five riders raced in each class. An enjoyable weekend was had by all and great spirit and pride was shown by Conor & Ezra. Well done boys.
