“A night to remember” is the promise by Mountmellick Macra to New Year’s Eve partygoers who come to their “New Year’s Eve Masquerade Party” this December 31.

The glamorous night kicks off at 9pm in their hall off Patrick Street, with all invited to come masked on the night to add to the fun atmosphere.

With tickets priced at just €10, and an invite to ‘bring your own bottle’, the night will be gentle on the pocket after the Christmas splurge.

Proceeds from the door charge will be donated to the Ben and Jake Connolly Trust, for the local boys who need a wheelchair accessible home.

Music will be by “The Little Fiddle” and of course there will be a countdown to the New Year.

Finger food will be served and a raffle will be held during the night with loads of amazing prizes promised, all sponsored by local businesses.

“It will be a night of surprises, glamour, good music and maybe you will find your New Year’s kiss. We hope to see you there,” said PRO Sadhbh O’Neill.
