Creativity was in the air in Arles NS on World book day when everyone dressed as their favourite literary character in fantastic handmade costumes.
Among the many costumes, Cormac Fenlon was “Tom the vet” and Holly Hughes “Bay Max” from Big Hero Six, Fionn Gallagher, Oisín Fitzpatrick and Fionn O’Raw used boxes to make “Steve” from Mindcraft. Conor was a “Fierce Viking”, Eoin was “Cat in the Hat” and Keelin an archer from the Crusades.
Each child received a €1.50 book token for World Book Day.
