Laois has one of the worst ratings for unfinished houses in the country according to a new report.

Figures published in a Department of the Enviornment report this week show that there are 483 vacant residences in the midland county. Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Jan O’Sullivan said she expected just a fraction of the unfinished estates around the country would have to be demolished.
