Trim hedges for safety

THE hedges at both Rathleague Road in Portlaoise and the Bog Road in Ballyroan need to be trimmed in the interest of safety, according to Cllr Mary Sweeney.

THE hedges at both Rathleague Road in Portlaoise and the Bog Road in Ballyroan need to be trimmed in the interest of safety, according to Cllr Mary Sweeney.

“It’s so blind coming from the Timahoe side,” she said at the recent Portlaoise electoral area meeting.

Council engineer, Mr Farhan Nasiem said they would do the work at the start of July if funding is available.
