A GHOST island is a top priority on the Stradbally Road near the sawmills in Portlaoise according to Cllr Willie Aird, in the interest of the safety of local residents.
“There are 15 to 20 houses up there and in the interest of people in the area this should be a top priority,” he said.
The council will now try to review this location in 2014.
