“Spectators are welcome and to ensure their safety are asked to obey marshals at all times. Most importantly spectators should never stand on corners or in front of an escape road. The marshals on each location will advise on safe viewing points.
“Residents on the stages are asked to ensure that any animals (especially dogs and horses) are keep well clear of the roads during the times given. Where possible these animals should be kept indoors. Please ensure that children are adequately supervised,” say the organisers.
The scrutiny of the cars will take place over at County Hall on Saturday evening where cars are inspected to ensure they are safe to compete.
Laois Rally Sport thanked its sponsors and said the rally could not run without the support of the residents on the stages.
