wn better.

Aisling Weymark, 3 Birch Grove, Birchwood, Waterford, was caught trying to pass cannabis herb to a prisoner on June 30 last year.

She has no previous convictions.

Defence, Ms Josephine Fitzpatrick said Weymark had made the decision very foolishly to bring the drug into the father of her child, who was serving a three and a half year sentence
for assault.

“She’s a good girl otherwise,” said Ms Fitzpatrick, adding that Weymark lives at home with her family and is on social welfare.

Judge Staines imposed a six-month sentence, suspended for 12 months on Weymark’s own bond
of €100.
