Laois is one of the first counties in Ireland to host an event as part of the national campaign to help parents tackle bullies.
On Wednesday, October 9 next the Laois branch of the National Parents Council (NPC) is hosting a free anti-bullying evening at The Portlaoise Parish Centre.
This new policy will come into force in early 2014 and NPC have a helpline for parents with practical and impartial advice where parents would like an independent confidential person to air a query with. NPC Primary help-line 01 887 4477.
This event is free to parents and is jointly run by NPC Primary & NPC Post Primary. The event runs from 7.30-9:30pm. To attend confirm e-mail to Margaret at firstname.lastname@example.org or Text 083 44 18607. The Laois NPC Primary will have a brief AGM and elections at the end of the meeting.
