A Graiguecullen estate which was left in a bad state when the developer went into receivership has been taken in charge.

The council took control of Brotherton and finished the estate with the bond.

“It looks second to none now,” said Cllr James Daly, who praised the council for their work.

“It’s excellent work, it was unreal the condition it was left in,” Cllr Ben Brennan said.

Meanwhile Cllr Padraig Fleming said the residents were very happy.
