Storm glazing has just been completed on all the windows of Holy Cross. The glazing repairs and painting cost €20,000 approx. and was necessary to preserve our lovely church. Thanks to Tom Kennedy and the rest of the finance committee for their work in getting this project completed.

REACH OUT INITIATIVE
St Clare’s Hospitality Volunteers now deliver over 150 food parcels each week to families who are struggling. To continue to provide this service we urgently need your help. As a way of making the Advent season more meaningful we ask people to place a non-perishable food item each week in the baskets in our churches and this will be a great help to us in making up the parcels.
Parish Evergreens/Senior Citizens Annual Christmas Dinner will take place on Sunday 08 December at 1pm in the Talbot Hotel. All senior citizens from the parish are invited. Admission is free but those who wish to attend must collect their ticket from the Parish Centre.
Killeshin FC Whist Night every Wednesday night at 8.30pm in the Old Den beside Killeshin Hall. Entry is only €5 per person and all are welcome. Refreshments served. Beginners from 7.30pm to 8pm.
Killeshin FC recent lotto results. Numbers drawn were 04, 06, 18 and 23, there was no winner. €25 lucky dip winners were May Dempsey, Seamus Moore, Corey McCartney and Jenny Collins. The seller’s prize went to Ollie Brennan. The Jackpot now stands at €8,300.

Our 2014 Parish Annual will be launched next Saturday 06 December in the Parish Center after the 6.30pm Mass.
Graiguecullen Community Development Group invite all residents to the Annual Christmas Tree celebration at the Croppy Grave on Friday, December 5 at 5.30pm where they will be joined by local choirs and a special visit from Santa who will switch on our Christmas Tree lights and afterwards to the Activity Centre at St Fiacc’s House for the launch of our Directory “What’s in Graiguecullen for Me”. Refreshments will be served. All welcome.
This Friday, December 5 is the First Friday of the month. There will be a brief penitential service during the 10am Mass in St Clare’s.
Holy Communion will be brought to the sick and housebound for Christmas on Tuesday and Wednesday 08 and 09 December.
Pope John Paul II Award participants will be commissioned Mass on Saturday, December 6 at 6.30pm Mass St Clare’s Church.

St. Fiacc’s House Library open for lending Monday to Friday from 10am to 12 noon from Monday last. This is a free service and all people from the Parish are welcome to come and borrow a book and donate your used books if you wish.
