Portlaoise Family Resource Centre hosts the launch of the Youth Group’s ‘Song for Craig’ as part of Laois Connects Week.
The ‘Song for Craig’ was a collaboration between local rap artist Wally O’Loughlin and the Knockmay Youth Group. Wally facilitated the 25 young people who had tragically lost their friend Craig Gorman to suicide this year to express their feelings and grief through song. The result is a beautiful song of hope accompanied by a music video produced by the youth group.
The launch on Thursday October 9 at 8pm promises to be an evening of celebration and a tribute to their friend Craig with a theme of hope and belief in the future. Light refreshments will be served. All welcome.
