St Paul's National School Portlaoise Fashion show.

St Pauls School in Portlaoise celebrated the fine weather in style this week when the school held its first ever fashion show.

All the girls in the school and some of the braver boys took part.

Ireland’s next Top Model is definitely to be found in one of these young people. The theme of the fashion show was “Show your Confidence” and the girls and boys certainly showed that. With clothes ranging from day, party, and night wear, the pupils took to the ramp with style and panache.

There were three judges, Ms Orla Wynne, Ms Alva Mc Manus and Mr Sean Roddy.

As usual, St Pauls put all their resources into making this event something special. Introduced by Mr Des Sutton and compeered by Ms Meree O Sullivan, this was an auspicious occasion.

Background music, lights, spot lights were chosen and operated by the pupils themselves. All in all it was a day to remember. The boys and girls of St Pauls have achieved yet another milestone in the holistic approach to education that is so totally embraced by the school
