€13,460 take in charge bill

TWO more estates, at a cost of €13,460 per annum, have been taken in-charge by Laois County Council.

Rathevan in Portlaoise and Royal Court in Borris-in-Ossory were taken in charge at an estimated cost of €12,340 (public lighting €3,840 and maintenance / repair of roads / services €8,500) and €1,120 (public lighting €320 and maintenance / repair of roads / services €800), respectively.

Deputy County Manager Anna Marie Delaney said eight estates had been taken in charge this year.
