CAMOGIE - The Harps

GOOD things come in threes, and The Harps Camogie club can certainly testify to that.

They started the year by claiming their third Laois county title, then went on to claim their third Leinster title, before going further again and claiming an historic third All-Ireland Junior Club Championship, as they saw off Clare side Kilmaley in Nenagh back in November.

The club have built a tradition of winning over the last three years to the point where they are one of the most feared club sides in the country. Great work has been done by the club in recruiting and managing their squad, and their recent success points to a club which is making all the right moves and heading in the right direction thanks to the work of Secretary, Mary Donohue and Chairperson, Ann Mahony.

Claiming a three in a row was the focus at the start of the year, and with that now completed there aren't many that would bet against them extending that run.
