Council’s €184,000 property disposal

County councillors agreed to sell sites, land and houses land at their recent meeting.

Councillors agreed the sale of a two acre residential site at the Pound Field, Mountrath Road, Portlaoise to Ollie and Avril Fennell for €60,000.

Henry Arthur Dunne exchanged 0.0835 acres of his land for 0.0805 acres of land at Glasha Bends, Rathdowney.

The council also sold its equity interest in a house at 3 New Line Close, Mountrath to Elma Higgins for €40,116.68.

The councillors also agreed to sell off 0.0126 hectares of land including a house at 44 Higgins Park, The Fairgreen, Portlaoise to Gerard Dunne, St Saviours Priory, Upper Dorset Street, Dublin 1.

The disposal of 75m2 at 63 St Brigid’s Square, Portarlington to James and Mary O’Neill for €100 was also passed, as was the sale of 0.0257 hectares of land including a house at 7 Cill Beg Manor, Stradbally to Daniel and Marna Hatton, 26 Hillside View, Clonaslee for €84,000.
