Crossing call at Bayview Mountmellick

A pedestrian crossing is needed at Bay View housing estate in Mountmellick for a resident with a disability, says Cllr Pat Bowe.

At last week’s area meeting he requested that Laois County Council install the crossing either on the Portarlington or the Emo road near the estate.

The request was referred to the council’s road design section for consideration.
