Drove drunk after argument

A MAN who drank and drove following an argument with his partner has been disqualified from driving.

Inga Raiskun, 2 The Willows, Forest Park, Portlaoise, was detected with 73mg of alcohol on his breath, at Forest Park on August 23.

Defence, Mr Philip Meagher explained that Raiskun had an argument with his partner at home on the night and it became very heated as there was drink consumed.

“He made the foolish decision to get in the car and distance himself from the situation,” Mr Meagher said.

Raiskun was disqualified for three years and fined €300.
